Me too, I have missed the racing so much, Stoner is going to be hard to beat but I am hoping Lorenzo can take it this year.
Great lap from Cal, absolutely banged in the time and really put the cat amongs the pigeons. Gotta say im a huge Casey fan so would always want him to win but if Cal can start getting podiums I can see him factory next year which is amazing. Rossi??? Well, that's development for you
That's a year of the legendary 'Rossi JB' development, completely and utterly pointless. I'm sorry to say it but I just think Rossi could have lost some pace, and if he has Ducati are wasting time with him cos they won't get the results required so they'll never know what th bike 'could be' capable of in newer faster hands. People may not like it but all stars fade, i think it's an extremely serious position they're all in now.
I'd have to agree about all talents fade over time, you only have to look at Shoe-maker in formula 1, but come on Rossi has fallen off a cliff. I'm sure he may well have lost his edge, but he can't be as bad as the picture thats currently being painted makes him look surely
Massive Rossi fan and always will be .Butttttttttt! Just like Chris Walker and Corsa /Haga its a young mans game so i think he is now just dropping off the boil and making way for the new stars to come through .Hope i am wrong!!
Whichever one got Jennifer Anniston to sit on their face. I too will always be a massive Rossi fan and am struggling to see what's gone wrong. But watching his posture and his movement around the bike tonight, it looked like it was somebody else's. Like he didn't fit on it properly. He just looked awkward. He does race better than he qualifies yes, but He's going to have a lot of traffic tomorrow before we get to see that.
Just read stoners press release and it says he has massive chatter issues and without big improvements he does not expect to be on the podium. so lap times can be decieving
Ooops!! Hate to see it as I'm a huge Rossi fan, but the bike hasn't worked for him, he's older and lost his edge and up against a crop of brilliant riders... Going to be a long season...
Just watched the race and thought it was a great opener for the season, full of exciting racing and and balanced out with some disappointment from one or two camps. What a great alternative to the totally crap Easter weather! Just got one question though....Did anybody else notice the annoying Malaysian (?) guy who managed to get himself on virtually every camera shot on the grid?
Expect something big to happen regarding Ducati or Rossi, it's being reported on the Ducati site he's now openly criticised the bike and the designers for not following his specification ( or words to that effect) No Ducati press release yet either
Yes i noticed that there was no press release. something has gone seriously wrong so it either a total new re design again or bye bye ducati ?? Edit . . just been reading about what rossi said after the race and well its safe to say i doubt he will be at ducati in 2013. but its very difficult to see who will want to employ him after what looks as though its going to be another very hard season I think his only options are run his own 1 man team using a honda or yamaha or hang up his leathers. i think at the end of the season only then will we see how much desire and hunger valentino really has left
i found the GP racing to be......well same old same old tbh. Moto 2 racing was quality as it usually is though. Cant wait for the close racing of BSB
