Fitting 08-11 headers to 13 blade

Can you fit 08-11 akrapovic system to a 13 blade?

Am I correct that the headers will fit as the engine parts are the same?
Any issues with different fairings?

I'm sure some of you must have tried it allready

 

Bit of info. here which may help -

My bike is 2008, when the 2010 engine was fitted the headers would not fit, so a replacement set (via Mark / Yorkshire Gooner) were required - I did not fit these so cannot say exactly what was out / different but there was a problem.

I thought all the heads in the engines are the same?

 

if you are just putting the end can on then no problem - my akrapovic has been used with both sets of headers without issue

 

Im trying to find out if the whole system 08+ will fit a 13

 

Can't say for definite, but I doubt it as the MY12+ models have a redesigned fairing so it's not just a case of whether the bolt studs line up but also the down sweep of the exhaust so it clears bodywork.
