    hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has tried to fit a us30 to the rear of a 2004 blade.
There doesn't seem to be any framework visible after removing the rear seat. Does anyone know if I need to remove the rear section to get access to the frame or not.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated
    Regards
    Clive

Unless you have a tail tidy for the rearwards straps then you'll struggle to get a US30 to fit without a rack.
This is my US30 on a rack.

Thanks for the advice and for photos, seems the rack option is best, is it a renntech one?

Yes it is mate. It's because of the length between the straps on the US30. The US20 & US10 are much closer together and just go under the pillion seat.

    US20

If the 2004/5 Rentech is the same as the 2006/7 I have one I would be happy to sell.

Thanks for the offer, but I managed to fit the straps securely, bit of fun but does the job

Interesting point about the strap distance being different on the us20 and us10, I thought they would have made them the same distance apart. Just ordered a us20, was hoping to use the us20 when I didn't need to carry too much gear

Looking back at the photos they appear to get further apart as the size of the bag goes up, but if you're buying another bag then it should come with another set of straps, which you could add under the back of the pillion seat for the US20.
