Gearbox on its way out??

    Was out on the r6 earlier and was hammering on through the gears, quickshifted up from 5th to 6th and it went into 2nd!? Showed 2nd on the gear indicator anyway and it redlined and my shift light was going nuts. Any ideas? The bike has only done 5000 miles but most of them are on track.

    Did it actually go into 2nd gear or just the gear indicator display 2nd?

    Built in gear indicator or an add-on one?

    Will be an add on as it doesn't have one as standard....

    Not sure what caused that though mate, never heard of that? :(
