After a run on the bike yesterday I really need some tank grips. I have the SP that has a gorgeous blue line across the tank that I am not prepared to compromise. I think I could get away with just putting grips on the black plastic infills under the tank as thats where my legs mainly are and the grips would work under braking but can’t help but wonder how it would look with clear ones on the tank as well. Are they that transparent that they wouldn’t alter the look of the bike?
    Any pics welcomed please.

Brilliant thanks, exactly what I was looking for. They are a good option and no doubt a great upgrade.

You could get some Venture shield easily changeable if it wears.

I’ve got PPF on the bike already but feel like I need more grip with my legs. Grips are the way to go for me I think but I don’t want to ruin the looks of the bike. I’m thinking I may get away with one just on the plastic infill panel but may need to go on the tank as well. 119855D0-74E1-4C22-B9CA-5A5E861B8D56.jpeg

I had mine on just the infill panel at first as like you I was loathe to cover the paintwork on this one......but I found I was getting scuffing from from my leg on the tank and missed the grip so I put the upper stomps back on. Only thing is with the paint colour you can see where it's getting grimy at the edges. I'm not fussed about it but you might be. Guess you could maybe clean around it?!? I haven't tried

The clear grips are the way forward I think they don’t look bad at all do they. Is that a clear one on the plastic too?

If you want to try just the lower panel grips out first before you buy a full pack....I have a brand new pair of black ones left over in a pack that you can have.

Nice one thank you, that would be great :) if you let me know what you want for them I can either send pennies across or wait until we get another fine day and catch up somewhere and take them off of you?

I thought you got rid of those last year Loz.
Maybe save them until I've had a chance to go out on mine later this year just in case mine Chinese ones are shite :D

Cheers. How's this for an idea. Infills can go on the road bike and the main pads can go on the black track Blade.
I'll sort it when we have a rideout later in the year and pay you back in spam & chips ;)

I've only got the black infills left as I ended up sticking the main pads on the sp :D
I'll bring them for your road bike ;)

I had these Eazigrip ones on my 2018, as you can see they don't obscure the paint work at all. They don't discolour either. Also my infill panels were smooth so the tank grips stuck really well, the standard infills you have are nobbly/textured so adhesion might not be as good. They'll stick but may start to lift after a while.
