Sorry to be the moaning one again I'm usually so happy ha ha . Well looks like winter off racing break gonna be a bit longer phone call from hospital to pop up hmmmmmm . They have found a couple more problems cracking . I now have 8 fractures 4 clean breaks please pop to get re x rayed and assessed so been up Hospital since 1pm there main concern and they are concerned is my left thumb there isn't a bone connected that isn't broke or fractured they did say all these posh words but I didn't understand ha ha . So had to have thumb moved and it hurt !! 4 weeks now 10th December then if not healing pinned and plated another 6 weeks . Can't believe it wasn't hurting that much and it's this extreme such a slow speed fall compared to my massive high side 6 weeks ago . Surgeon really optimistic about thumb or he said they would of done it today . Big plus note I had a £10 note in my old card when they cut it off ha ha 2 days god knows how it got there beer induced defo So everyone going to bike show if you see these casts please buy him a beer quickshifter tyres or sponsor for next year lol
Aww shit luck dude! If we do well over Xmas at work I may be able to throw a few small sponsorship funds around so will keep you in mind! My friends Mg V8 caught fire on track so no healing that in a hurry. I said I wanted my sponsorship sticker back haha
Unless the big highside weaken stuff and then the small off finished them off, so to speak? can that happen? Sorry to hear of your bad news, but at least you have the winter to get it all sorted before the racing/track day season starts again
I'm jelous they had no orange casts when I had mine! This is what they did too my thumb they called it K wires as you can see was about an 1 1/4 inch of bone missing, 2 pics before and 2 after........
on the bright side you might be able to wipe your own arse since your fingers aren't fixed.... Although don't get any shit in between the plaster, that'll stink for the next 6 weeks
