Glad it all worked out (apart from your two pronged attack ) you got what you wanted and the sales guy got to take you up the bypass! Sounds like a fun filled day all round!

On the upside the c1 is only a few places below a Wartburg

I had a Fiat Panda once. I got a call from the Police at about 1 am. A drunk driver ploughed into it while it was parked. The drunk driver could not deny it as they had to cut her out of the wreckage ! - she was ok, air bags and seat belts and all that. She had an argument with her boyfriend at a party and stormed off in the car - and crashed it ! - she could not hand her insurance details quick enough after receiving a letter from my lawyer - you are responsible for this........ poor girl

Anyway, my involvement with Fiat Pandas ended there but I kept the reg number for years, had a good number on it.

 

I had an Xr but it was an E reg xr4x4 best car I ever had

 

Good one, Mattie. I don't think there's many on here with a love of number plates. Could make a good new thread, 'Show us your plates' which I will start, although I understand some are reluctant to put up the full plate.
