I've succumbed to the urge and ordered a go pro, I don't want to have it on my lid but can't see where best to mount it on the bike.

I've already got a telferiser on the hesd unit for the zumo, I reckon I could fit another one on there and mount it looking thru the screen, but ideally I want a front wheel type view, has anyone got a notion how to mount the kit there?

A simple L shape bracket that bolts on using the main spindle bolt will give you the view you want, using rubber washers for the gopro to dampen the vibrations

Got a cheapo from aldi and mounted it on the tank looking through the screen. Great shots BUT you could see the speedo. I've never used it since.

I had to move my satnav up on top of the screen, away from my gopro 'cos the gopro would cause it shut down . Also, being behind the screen means squashed insects don't get to obscure the view thru the lens anywhere near as much. I can still aim the camera so as to show or not show the speedo.

Just the suction cup Andy? Or do you add a back up method of securing it?

Yeah just the standard Gopro suction cup, it is a bit daunting at first and I was forever checking it was still where it was meant to be but after a few runs out it soon passes.

Although I didn't dare risk any of the after market suction cups I went for the pricey genuine kit and they do claim it's good for 150mph +

GoPro Suction Cup | Industrial strength with proven speeds of 150+ mph
