Just been watching The One Show; Chris Evens has been named as the first new presenter of Top Gear along with producing it. One of the big things he's said is that there will be 'open auditions' for the other two presenters the same as Hammond and May were recruited. It's got to be worth a shot and I think I've got a good chance as I share the ginger gene lol
Evans has taken soooo much sh*t for taking this on. I honestly think he's the best man for the job and a TV production genius. Everything the guy touches turns to gold. Can't wait to see what he's does with the show, it's needed an injection of fresh ideas for quite a while. Also heard there may be the inclusion of bikes on the show, which will be superb
I kind of feel similar Russ. The show was getting a little too silly but was still an enjoyable watch. Evans knows what a big task he's taking on and has a real passion for cars (spent £250mil on a car)
