Does anyone know or can recommend an Aprilia dealer in North Wales / North West area? Hoping to find a knowledgeable dealer to upload the RACE map onto my standard ECU and be able to run the relevant software for it to learn. Ps had cracking time with my 2011 Repsol Fireblade but just fancied a change ......
Not personally but a member on here had his bike off them and had no problems. U won't have a lot of choice with such a small dealer network.
Thanks mate, it sounds even better than it looks lol ! Loving it, I wouldn't say it's any quicker than my 2011 blade (think the RSV4 is over geared) and it handles just as good too. However it runs a bit hotter and as the exhaust runs down past your left ankle it's bloody hot in town and the foot rest is hot to touch ! Where the blade was predictable and easy power, you are always aware on this that it might bite you and is a bit harsher around town (like the Mille twins) but the sound is amazing and the braking is first class, even the rear brake has loads of feel - you must test one !
Hi Dave, I'm about 5' 11" and 200 lb and it fits as well as my 2011 blade did, the seat seems slightly higher but would say not quite as comfy as the blade (seat wise). I've heard blokes 6' 4" been as comfy as 5' 6" ones, but it is a very compact bike with zero space under the pillion pad lol !
I have sat on one but I'm a tad big for it and it kind of looked like a 50cc with me on it lol I'm 6'4 and 19.5 st (pure muscle of course ) Shame really but I know what you mean about the sound!
