I am looking at getting a new slip on exhaust but the GP style ones that sit higher up the bike as I am finding the stubby exhausts sit to low and I have put a hole in my Yoshi r77 at oulton park as I grounded it going round a corner.:D:eek:

Ideally just want a slip on and not full exhaust.

Most of the ones I like are way to loud for track

    Race fit growler

    Arrow GP 2

    Any suggestions?

I've got a GP2 on my blade and it's very noisy. For quieter days I use another akra can with baffle on the GP2 linkpipe, gets me well under 102db. luckily here in belgium and on the tracks I ride there is the usual "open exhaust" day without limits

Try one of these then from Pipe Worx Jase?

CBR 1000 RR De Cat 08-> - Honda

Performance Bikes Mag fitted one to their 13 plate 'Long Term' Test Bike and raved about it's value and performance.

I run a Hawk Can on the ZX10 at the mo

I've got an arrow trophy end can. It's a stubby but points higher up and sticks closer to the swingarm than a yoshi does. Great power gains but may struggle under 102
Maybe an option for you. Mine can off Rutters smt Honda so must be ok for clearance

Regular non gp style Akrapovic is your best shot at having power and staying below 102db imho.

austin racing do their GP2 systems with extra baffling in the link pipe and are under 102 db. Not cheap though :(

If you want high position, go with ARATA or bricks exhaust ...... here are the performance and low noise level.

I ve a full arata Ti system with akrapovic can from rsv4 and it the best set up for our blade in term or power torque and sound.

So after 2 days of banging my head against the wall think I have found what I have been looking for .

It's a clever bit of kit as you can control the noise which rangers from 98-120db .

    NEW
    GP2R Slip on exhaust
Available with carbon or titanium end can.
Y pipe fit to stock headers is stainless, fat 76mm link pipe work is titanium.
Full db control with the inserts supplied from 98DB to LOUD!!!

All you do is remove the inserts that are supplied to control the sound so when I go Jerez it will be 120db.:D and it doesn't affect the power whether you run it at 98db or 120db.will give them a call to have a chat .

It's working now! Small world but check this. The guy who's posted that video is called terry. That exhaust was custom made to copy the rsv4 aprc wsbk. I'm hoping they are going to start selling it now. The Austin I've just fitted to my mates 12 came off terry this week ha.. His bike was on the Austin stand at the bike show :)

Feck, scraped my yoshi on the asphalt as well last week even though I've read this thread before :-( :-( shame to trash such a beautiful end can, I can't believe yoshimura designed the ground clearance so poorly.
