With Bennett's last year for a great price of £328. Full comp,Inc breakdown, helmet, leathers and legal cover. I ride a 2009 Repsol, 5,000miles a year, garaged, 44 yrs old, passed test last yr, haven't claimed. 3 points for speeding in my Van. Had a renewal sent through, they make it so easy, it says "no need to lift a finger". More like lift me off the floor !!!!! So what was the price? Please leave me the name of your insurance company please.
Come on Paul what was it the suspense is killing me! I'm guessing by your reaction it could best be described as an absolute piss take.
I'm paying £329 FC with Zenith However I'm a good boy with a clean 'Advanced' Driving Licence and ZERO points, oh and living in 'Leafy Cheshire' helps a lot too!
It was nearly put a zero on the end !!! And a bit more, 11 times dearer, and I've got a years more experience and NCD on my bike policy. £3,664.32
They don't !! Hence the price, they've taken the risk for 12 mths and now it's time to ditch the the risk, the good news there will be another company will to take the risk and offer a decent price .
Jesus! That's outrageous I guess it's 'compare the market' time for you but make sure you cancel your old policy before they take a payment from you because they'll charge you for cancellation too after the commencement date
I know mate, they do it to get rid of you. It's like young lads getting silly 4 figure quotes for cars and bikes because the insurance companies don't want the risk.
I had the same problem. 1st year with Bennetts was reasonable then it doubled but a phone call soon sorted it all out. £222 for my Panigale with legal, RAC, helmet, leathers and personnel accident which was quite a bit less than the 1st year. But, having said that I am an old git living in the back end of nowhere. £222 was still cheaper than other offers so I stuck with them this time.
I'll have to call them up Monday and see what they say, surely it's just a computer generated quote, but can't see what's gone wrong there.
