    Hello All,
I’m new here, so hello everyone. So, I’m looking to put handlebar risers on my 2006 cbr1000rr. Has anyone done this and if so, what did you go with? I’ve found a few different set ups, but they require that I relocate my ignition and I’d prefer not to do that. I’d also like to use my factory damper if at all possible. I’ve looked into clip-ons, but would rather use a whole top triple tree and put dirtbike bars on. Can anyone help me?
    Thanks everyone

Really just comes down to money. Can’t really afford a second bike.

@Old_boy65 and @Nytol have done it. Hopefully they'll respond to this alert.

... sorry only just seen this post. My local dealer put a second hand set of Helibars on my 2012. Don’t think it created too many problems but it took longer than they expected. Happy with the result :)

I put Hellibars on both of my blades, very easy to do, no need to change anything except maybe brake cables if not long enough?

Totally transforms the bike for me.

No offence meant, but I imagine at your size, it's difficult to get into a full tuck comfortably.

It's not so much the tuck that is the issue, (although even with my chest flat on the tank, I am still sticking up a bit and nowhere near as compact as a smaller person), it is more the stress on my wrists, this could be from extra upper body weight, or from previous wrist ligament damage, or a combination of the two?

Either way, I love my Hellibars :)
