i have never been a fan of double headlights and only one working.
So is there a conversation kit to convert to double headlight?

That might not be the right spelling.

It’s a plug and play kit...here’s some pics.
    Dead easy to fit

OK so your headlight is on the right hand side......the full beam is on the left hand side correct??o_O can you not just put a less powerful bulb in place of the main beam bulb and then run with it switched on ?? Giving the desired effect of running two headlights? ?

No, because high beam is generated by a different reflector. You could have the same wattage in each side, but one would still be high beam.

Looks great, hitch. I'm not a fan of the 'blown headlight' look either. Not sure I'd pay 70 quid though. Fortunately, the 2017 -18s run both lights, so I just ride my 2018 during times of heavy OCD:D.

But still surely a lower wattage bulb could work?? Or am I being really thick?

You're right, it does seem logical. I am going on what I have heard/learnt from similar issues on this and the USA forum. Remember also though, that if you go to a very low wattage, you compromise the high beam - if you ever want to use it as that.

I can’t remember the reasoning now between changing the high beam bulb.

I do think it’s possible, I think someone on here uses LED bulb(s).

I was feeling flush at the time @nigelrb lol

Stupidest thing about it is, we never see the lights when riding it o_O

I know we cant see them, but it’ll be nice not to have people (well intentioned as they are) from tapping you on the shoulder with the “One of your lights is out mate” declaration. At first I used to try and explain that’s how its supposed to be but that became tedious when they thought I was trying to be defensive. Now I say “Cheers I’ll get that sorted mate”

Really.....I try not to mess with any of the handle bar buttons or switches when riding. I'm one of those who press the horn when indicating to turn left!! Throw the high beam into the equation and I'll probably hit a lamp post or ride up a wall like that guy in the you tube video!!:D

Update - Jens replied straight away to advise what was required (a version H7 direct apparently) and the cost including postage is €73. Paid via PayPal this morning and it should be delivered fingers crossed for this Friday.

    I’ll post info/pics on receipt
