Hey, Tried to use my new head stock stand yesterday but the largest pin it came with is 18mm and that's a lot smaller than the head stock Also when trying to lift it seems to push against the nose fairing so I didn't lift it wanted to know if this was normal and if the pin should be a tight fit ? Anyone used one and if it's supposed to he a tight pin what size do I need (11 plate blade) And should it touch the nose when lifting, don't wanna crack my fairings doing it Cheers in advance

No mate. I just measured my ZX's hole with a small steel rule and went from that. It's certainly less than 27mm on a Blade I can tell U that! The ZX has one of the biggest headstock stem holes going at 27mm
Sorry mate, got caught up with other stuff before heading to work. I'll measure it in the morning when I get home, if no-one here knows the size. I'm no fabricator mate
Lol my calibrated eye tells me it's 21/22mm but me bikes down at me dads so can't measure for a week or so, So if it's possible for you to have a measure will be greatly appreciated
Or you could just use the biggest one you have already, its not going anywhere, or if you are that worried, a long 17mm socket, and the 17mm spigot gives a snug fit. That said, the 08 onward blade has very little clearance between the front mudguard and fairing. so it does not matter what you use, the lift will touch the fairing.
That's the bit I'm not that keen on , have people used them do they crack the fairings as I don't want to put too much force on the fairings ?
You could try an see if one of the seller on eBay that do headstock tool or engine/swing arm removal tools could make up a 23mm adaptor for you? I have used this guy for some special tools before an says he does special requests if he doesn't have what you looking for!
