Hello. Just got a blade after waiting toooo many years! Up for rideouts most weekends, and usually go to Buryhill, loomies etc so im sure ill see some of you around Steve
Hi Steve Welcome to the fold....... The new Hond Dealership at Chichester wouldn't have anything to do with your new purchase would it..... LOL. I just bought my Repsol Fireblade from them two weeks ago, and haven't looked back (To Kawasaki) since. I'm normally riding around your area + Loomies most weekends. Get some pics up or you'll take some stick.....LOL
Hi Steve from another bury regular. Hope you enjoy your blade. Get a photo up and then I can look out for you.
Morning all, thanks for the warm welcome It's a 2004 tricolour - no pics untill Goodwood Revival's over, working 13 hour days! On that note - If anyone's here over the weekend and wants a chat, im at Lavant straight grandstand @1000rr73 - you may have seen me before, i had a yellow suzuki bandit. Took a few years off biking until last October, now realising what a huge mistake that was!!
@JimGreen - Congrats on the new machine! I usually work down the road from there and popped in one lunchtime before they properly opened. Really nice bikes, they had a just about 'used' Repsol blade for £7.5k, looked very sweet! Look forward to seeing you both about!
I know the one, like that colour very much indeed. (04-07 models are my favourite shape)
In regard to mods, in its 6k mile life it's still all original... Not sure how long that's gunna last ... Crash bobbins maybe a good start!

Not sure how long that's gunna last
Heh heh know what you mean , Mine too is pretty much standard apart from black screen and single seat cowl. Mods I have planned are - Exhaust , tail tidy , crash bungs and to get the lower fairings tidied up paint wise as there is a few scuffs here and there. Plus a few carbon bits here and there too
Mmm! Thinking the same here! Interested to know where to get the seat cowls, seen them on ebay but all seem to be from China?
welcome to the forum, I got a seat cowl from china, was a perfect colour match but it was rubbing slightly on one side but a filed it level and re-coated the lacquer and it looks spot on.best £12 spent
