Hello from the sunny (ha!) coast of Kent . Well it was a short while ago . I just found the site a couple of days ago so I thought I would sign up and not just lurk in the shadows .
Well first off I am female (old) and bought my black 08 Blade about a year ago . I bought it after selling my very modified RG500 (see PB Obsessions) . I had a test ride at my local Honda dealer Kent Motorcycles and was blown away by the whole experience and just had to buy one .
Well a year on its just a little modified (I'm afraid I just can't leave my bikes standard) . I will try and upload a pic when I work out how (not very good on these computers you see) .
I haven't tracked it yet but will do so this year at either Lydden or Brands . I normally do 3 or 4 trackdays a year . I think Lydden might be a little small for unleashing all of the Blade's power but its my local track and I know it so well .
Right then , enough of my late night ramblings as its way past my beddy time .....

hi and welcome to the site, sounds like you have the modding bug too. What you got planned, would love to see pics of the RG and blade.

Photobucket makes it easy, open an account, load your pics then copy the link below the picture, paste it into your post

    Job done :)

Welcome NT, I'm new to this as well, but pleased to say this site seems very friendly and chatty.

A refreshing departure from a certain football forum that I frequent I must say.

Hi Jamie .. yup I'm a serial modder I'm afraid .. don't do standard . Every bike I have ever owned I have messed with . And I do mean that I do it myself .. can't trust anyone else . Actually I haven't taken any pics of the Blade yet .. must do some . I do have some pics of the RG500 on flickr and a bike I am just beginning to mess with .. early days on that one . Try Flickr: nuttytart500's Photostream
I hope that works ......... Ohh and thanks for the advice for posting pics using Photobucket .. flickr don't show a link below the pic so I have given you the whole lot (or at least I hope I have)

Very nice .. love the black & white . I had an R1 2002 in Marlboro 'stab you in the eyes' orange with full QB carbon kit including the tank with the double fillers , only one was active , and Akropovic of course. That was a couple of bikes ago but didn't fully gel with the feel of that one . Maybe I should have tried different tyres .
I haven't got time to tell you the mods I have made to the Blade as I have to pop out for a bit and drop off a fatheres day card , but I will bore everyone later with the full SP ..... watch this space ;-)

Hello Dan .. thanks for praise on the RG (its the Suzuki not the Yamaha :becky: ) Loved every minute of modding that bike , much easier to build something special from the older tackle . By the time I had finished it had gone up to 112bhp on Dave Hammomds dyno and weighed in at 172 kg fully fuelled and that included the 4 litres of two stroke oil . I'm afraid there aren't any build pics ... sorry . As for a list of what I did ......... it would take less time to tell you what I didn't :yes4:

Yup I must take some pics of the Blade ... then I will stick them up ..
