Hello, let me start that i have a Honda CBR 600RR 2011 model. I have put 3000 miles on it and now feel that i want more usable grunt at lower RPM's. I test rode the new ABS blade last week and it was PERFECT!!!! But........... just as i was about to order one i read that Honda are bringing out a newer version.
So should i wait? Maybe because there might be better deals?

up to you mate. if you have only had the 600 a short while i would be inclined to keep it till the winter then if the new model comes out to either get a good deal on the current model or pay for a new blade.

the choice is yours. but having a 2011 model 600RR i would say keep it for the summer.

Or if money is not object they just do as you want and buy a new bike now?

i love my blade, only had it 2 months. added over 1300 miles on it and loved every min of it.

There are some great deals around at the moment on new blades. I wonder when the new one comes out if prices will skyrocket like to the likes of the ZX10R & S1000RR (not to mention the loss of the fantastic 0% finance?).

Get the 2010 Blade brand new for under 10k at 0% finance, stick a Bazzaz box on it and u have got next years Blade with traction control and quickshifter all set up for under 11k as opposed to the 13.5k you will end up paying next year.

Personally i would keep the 600rr and go track it, you will see what its capable of and realize you don't need the 1000rr

Tippets Honda will do the 2010 HRC Blade for £9995 at 0%

George Whites will also do the black or black and White 2010 for £9995 or the 2011 Repsol for £10500

That sounds a good deal, but these sound like non ABS models?
I would rather have an ABS model as i think it will be easier to sell on next year as i only keep my bikes for a year.

    ABS is personal choice!!!

ABS models are available of special deals for a few hundred pounds extra.

Also if you are after a bike for 12months and looking to sell on next year the Blade shoould not be on the top of your shopping list as there is a new model next year which will effect the resuduals on the current model!!

Forgot to mention I was going to purchase a 2011 REPSOL from Farnham Honda, however decided to purchased a new unregistered 2010 model (Black & white) for only £8995 with 0% for 3 years.

The dealer had all of the 2010 colours in stock - I bought the last Black & White.

The dealers details is Wayne Bowen Motorcycles 01443 776060

    Give them a call !!!!
