Hi folks, as most of the regular members will be aware I intend fitting and aftermarket speedo to my RR7.
I have managed to obtain a good picture of the connections at the original multi-plug, but I need some help with some of the abbreviations and what the might mean.

The ones I'm wondering about are
    1- HESC - Grey/Yellow wire
    2- FI Ind(-) - White/Blue wire
    3- Res.Sen. - Brown/Black wire
    4- Sensor(-) - Green/Black wire
    5- Immobi(-) - White/Red wire

    For example.. number 4 - sensor..which sensor ??
All help is most gratefully received :)

    Cheers

Can you not use the wiring diagram to trace the loom back to the sensor in question?

Where abouts did you get the wiring diagram you are using?

I can make an educated guess on a few tho but diagrams wordings hard to make out in that picture and you should really be tracing the wiring diagram back to the sources.

The ones I'm wondering about are
1- HESC - Grey/Yellow wire. ??? Electronic steering damper led
2- FI Ind(-) - White/Blue wire. Fuel injection error led (earth connection)
    3- Res.Sen. - Brown/Black wire. Fuel reserve led
4- Sensor(-) - Green/Black wire. ??? Possibly neutral led or temp led (earth connection)
5- Immobi(-) - White/Red wire. Hiss immobiliser led (earth connection)

    On here :)
The Fl Ind traces back to the crank and can position sensors, the res.sen. Traces to the fuel reserve sensor.
There may be some of the warning lamps, eg hiss and hesc that will not get carried over to new clock !
