Hi guys, I am trying to get my track bike ready, but I can't get the spacers for the oversize Brembo discs. The kit I need is BFK010 to fit a 2007 cbr600rr I bought the discs from Bikehps and they are struggling to get hold of the spacer kit. I know that they are dealing with the importer which id Bike Torque Racing. I've tried Demon Tweeks and Reactive Parts. But I do know that I can fit the spacers from the 07 blade onwards. (where the discs is now 320mm, up from 310mm) Does anybody know where I can get the kit or a set of blade spacers?
Just 5mm spacers, type caliper spacers into eBay and there's someone who makes them on there, I'm thinking about bigger brakes so maybe ordering some soon
Thanks for the offer megawatt, I might have to take you up on that if all else fails. I mate of mine has knows somebody at a engineering firm, and has taken the spacer off my blade to try and get them to duplicate it. Martin...I saw the spacers on Ebay and they are just flat, where the blade spacers have a edge built into them (like having a dowel) to centralise the caliper What can possibly go wrong????????????
Update: The mate came through with the duplicate spacers, and they fit a treat! This was on the same day that they I got the Brembo spacer kit in the post!.........sods law
