Help help help on my Honda CBR 1000 RR hiss light sometimes does not go out and can not start the engine when the light goes out hiss start the engine and operate normally?
I think the HISS light blinks for 24hrs after you turn the ignition off and then goes out permanently until the ignition is next turned on. you can program it to go off immediately (no blinking). neither mode affect the operation of the immobilizer and starting of the engine hope this is what you were looking for. the owner's handbook has clear description on this maybe it is to reduce battery drain.
