Well worth it. This is me after a round trip to Boston yesterday.
As Tony the Tiger used to say, "They're grrrreat!"

We have a few in West Mids, but nothing like the pic you've shown KiP. I'd be bleedin' frantic.

Good thing with a quickshifter though, is that I can carry a bottle of Windex in my left hand. It's a sort of Spray 'n Wipe as you go!

Shame you can't get them for the bike too. Might try cling film or clear pallet wrap though :D

I am sure it would work. I have experimented with such intellectual applications. I tried it on my shower to save frequent glass cleaning. Used afterwards on the inside, it's still fine for sandwiches.:)

I wonder how it would fair with a 100mph wind though :D

    Interesting.

As a 'community service, I'll give it a test run. I'll cling wrap the front of my fairing and indicators before blasting to Worcester this arvo. (Because I'm so patriotic, I've set the TV to record the Royal wedding). When I'm back I'll post before and afters of the bike's front:cool::cool:.

    Jeez ......

Please tell me that's not really your shower Nigel..

I have visions of Anthony Perkins & you in there, crossed with some slightly weird sexual practises that I can't undue from my head

Back to the serious stuff. Mmm.

I must first tell you all that I did not major in physics. I cling wrapped the front, rather lazily and without too much effort:

    BEFORE:

    Tear Off.jpg

I had an inkling of the wind getting underneath and lifting it, so I made sure the edges were firmly fixed behind the screen.

All was going reasonably well, save for a bit of buffeting of the loose edge above the screen.

I'm feeling I'm on the edge of a major motorcycling breakthrough when friggin' BANG!!

Friggin' bird, I curse. I'm feeling feathers and whatever ruffling beneath my helmet, I sneak a look - and there's a sheet of plastic flapping around my neck. So, needless to say there's no 'After' picture.

Right. Before all the wise guys, and gal, decide to take the p*ss out of me, just remember that I did this for you all, in the interest of safer and cleaner motorcycling!:cool:

Blimey, I thought you were kidding when you said you would try it out. Hope this bird didn't cause any damage.
