Was there a conclusion on the best oil in the end of that massive thread.
Was there one that people prefered on track.
Has anyone used the additive called activ 8 and no it's no a orange juice concentrate lol

I changed from castrol power racing to Silkolene race 10-30 seems a lot less clunky

I change my oil every 1500 miles or so.. probably way over the top but just my personal preference.. the bike gets "used" well so if she gets the best oil, hopefully she looks after me back. I just bought this Silkolene stuff from Opie last week.. going to put this in for a change after my track day last week.

Goin to try that activ 8 stuff also. Have u seen the you tube video?
Silkolene gilesy was on my list to call Opie. Although I noticed u use 10-40 I think most people use 30 for a blade

i tried 10w-30 on my bike early in the year and just didn't get on with it. I know the 40 is more for temperature, but felt the gearbox was a little "notchier" than normal.. 40 all the way for me after this..
