Hey folks, picked up my brand spanker Fireblade this week. My first litre sports bike, have had a GSXR750 and Ninja 636 previously - but the blade is something else. Handles amazing and the power will take some getting used to.

Mine's the standard bike, but I'm tempted to add a quick shifter. However the first job is to sort a tail tidy out, the standard one is horrific (though I understand why!) - perhaps something like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Fi...-2018-2019-Relay-LED-Indicators-/312322984928

Anyway, seems like a great forum - look forward to using it over the next few years...

    Hiya Maak and welcome.

    Good choice of Blade.

Member @PauloHRC purchased and fitted one of those tail tidies. I'm sure he'll offer any fitting tips if required.;)

    Welcome to the forum Maak!

Yes a good first and mandatory upgrade is a tail tidy, I fitted J Tech tail tidy which is the same as the one you're looking at (yours is from a different seller) but I think J Tech actually manufacture them.

It was also cheaper but didn't come with indicators, although there was an option for the, I chose too keep the standard indicators as they are pretty sleek in design as indicators go!

I created a thread on here called 'SP tail tidy recommendations' take a look at that and you'll see there is a detailed in depth fitting video and also some photos of the finished product! :)

OK, we're tail tidied! Happy with the result, but took me hours as I'm a spanner stump!
