Snap matey you have exceptional taste in Blades WF! Definately the most gorgeous and striking of all Blades in my opinion not to mention the fastest I got my first Blade just before my 45th, and absolutely love it! They're not as intimidating as you might think i bit like a golden lab with a rocket up it's arse! Forgiving and easy to ride fast as long as you not ham fisted! They are truly amazing! ENJOY!!!.. Welcome to the family
Yep. I was 50 and a bit when I bought mine. I'd been having mid life crises buys for a year or so already at that point and I just about got the 'Blade past the missus before she twigged I was taking the piss.
What? Only the one mid life crisis? Shit no. I've been having them for years. This was the only time I could legitimately use it as an excuse for buying toys. Jeanette said it was either have an affair with my secretary or buy a sports car. My secretary then got me a bunch of brochures. I've got "1 Litre GTi Eater" on the bottom of mine.
Excellent, I seem to have accidentally joined Saga, do I get a free pen? I thought this would've been a toy too far, having well over-played the mid-life-crisis card. But a well timed call to Portugal when she was visiting her sister and was happy in the sun with a G'n'T, sailed right through. Thanks again for the warm welcome.
Jamie, don't rush it, save it for when it really kicks in! Are you the youngest on this site? Has there ever been a poll of ages on here? Who's the youngest here to own a Blade and who's the oldest still riding?
Fez is early 20's I think not sure on eldest, but Kens the daddy lol Mind you it's all a state of mind and how much insurance you can afford
Talking of insurance, just about to post a question in 'general' about multi-bike insurance, need some help.
I might qualify for owning blades the longest. Got my first one in 1996 and never been without one since. Had three others and reckon I've covered 130,000 miles to date
