    Hello to everyone.....

I've ridden a number of 600's and 750's on track. But I've finally taken the plunge and bought a 2019 SP. Cant wait to start using it on the track, I've always loved the smoothness of Hondas. In the short term I'll be commuting on it to 'break it in'.

I don't plan to do a full 'Race Bike' conversion yet. Initial plan is to fit GB Eng covers and fit a new exhaust and filter. Later I'll look to do fairings, light removal and suspension improvements. Has anybody else done similar with a 2017 onwards SP?

Also, I'm looking for an exhaust system if anyone has one for sale?

    Cheers

    Ben

Thanks everyone, as soon as I have some good pics I'll add them to this thread.

Question; is it easy posting pics on this forum, or do you have to use a third part website to host the pics?

Lovely...... photo trial. This is just the dealer pics of my bike, so essentially generic pics. When I’ve got some good ones of it ‘out and about’ I’ll post them.

Nice work Ben! I've recently got a 2019 SP myself. Is yours the SI-K model with separate wheelie control?

Re your mods - this feels like a thread for @RC45 :D

Hey, I believe its the 2019 with separate wheelie control. At least they dealership has told me it is. Think you can tell the difference with the fairing paint scheme; the Honda is in red at the bottom of the side fairing. On earlier models it was in blue. At least that's my understanding.

Welcome the to the forum and congratulations on the new bike.

When uploading photos, once it's uploaded if you tap the button that says full image..... It will display the full size image rather than the thumbnail.

I have made a few upgrades similar to what you're thinking, exhaust, GB covers, racing screen. At some point I will buy some fairings for track days but it won't be a track conversion.

Now that’s a lovely looking machine. Is that an SP or SP2 ? Carbon wheels? Like the fairings sticker/paint job.

Where did you get the screen?

It's a 2018 SP, one off Suzuka 8 hr paint scheme commissioned by Hunts Honda and painted by Paintbox from new. No stickers here pal, everything's painted or airbrushed. However there are a few decals I've added myself! Wheels are black to match the Suzuka 8 hr bike. Screen is MRA racing.
