    going to trade in my blackbird 2000 for a cbr 1000rr 05 tomorrow.......any hints or tips to look for...........am def going to upgrade a few parts........any suggestions

    I remember reading before I bought my RR6 that some were suffering with the sump corroding/ crumbling around the drain plug!

    Welcome Bry, checkout the sump around the drain bolt. Some had corrosion in that area , but most were OK. Post pix asap.

    Hi Bry, I bought an RR5 earlier this year, all black and a bugger to keep clean but other than that no issues at all, you will love it! I had a problem with an R&G tail tidy and the standard exaust can but I overcome that? Mine has only done 2800 miles but the tank paintwork is already dull where my knees hug it, however, stomp grips have covered that up. You get a little rattle when cold, some design fault or something but nothing to be concwerned about. You will love it.

    fcuking upset..........have a rr5 sitting 60 miles away waiting to be rode home but due to babysitting duties i cant get it picked up.........can anybody baby sit for a couple of hours while i go and lift it......cheers.......

    gonna be tues before i can pick it up.......thats over 60 hrs away......thats 2160 mins........not that im counting...............
