Hi everyone . . newbie so go easy on me . . I have a 600rr at the moment but hoping to make the step up to a blade soon
cheers guys . . could put up some picks of my marco simoncelli rep 600rr or would this be a no no as its not a blade ??
Go steady when you do make the step up to a blade, my son went from GSX750 to blade and has spent the last 5 months recovering from multiple bone breaks. The blade can get you into serious trouble in the blink of an eye. But great fun though.
Sorry to hear that Dave . .I hope he is ok . . That is the only thing that is putting me off is the power difference and me behaving myself !!
One of the blade's great traits is that it's power is so usable that there are few 'unpleasant surprises. It can get you into trouble, yes, can't they all, but the blade is so well mannered, it drops that particular ball directly in your court.
Hi Marco, exactly what caught him out, power difference and damp road and no control over his right hand, though he had been riding the blade for 4 months. Being only 21 he also thought "Ghost Rider" was a star, not sure if you have seen "ghost rider" on youtube, complete tw-t.
Couldn't put it better kpone The blade is one of the nicest 1000 sports bikes out there to ride, if its ever put a foot wrong it's been my fault not the bikes !
Cheers for the advice kpone. . I just hope im not making the step up to the ltr bike a little quickly
