Comes with Ducati harness as I had it fitted to my Multistrada for 3 months

As such you will have to order a shift rod and H/S harness from Arthur or HM £65 for the pair I think

I have priced it at £325 to allow you to get the harness etc .. There £475 new and you can sell the Ducati loom on flea bay for £25.

Only selling as the S1RR has a QS fitted and I need the funds more for a full system for the bike :)

    Any questions let me know

    Jamie

I'd actually keep this and use it in the S1000RR. I had 2 gear boxes go using the standard BMW 'Shift Assist". That's if you are using the standard one that is...

The standard unit fitted to the S1000RR isn't marketed as a QS.

So you then used the HM quickshifter without issue ?

I had an HM unit fitted and the gear changes were much better than the standard shift assist. I used my bike for track day instruction so the bike got used well. If you use the bike exclusively for track riding, you'll need to change the gear star selector shaft every 4/5 TDs or so, as this item wears fast and causes a lots of faulse neutrals. If this goes unattended you will kill the box. May be worth changing the de-tent spring in the box too, this will give you a much more positive gear change. Worth every penny IMHO. As said earlier I did 2 boxes and one engine within a season. All fixed under warranty, but it was a complete ball ache.....

Was a great bike. Was BSB STK1000 spec with 202hp at the rear wheel. Actually miss it quite a lot

Fitted a good few to S1's, GP is not available yet for the S1, maybe he has a beta ver? HM may have made ground on it as its been some time since I asked. The OEM shifter is CRAP end of, its ok for pottering around but when you push on with one its CRAP! Ok ok so crap is a bit harsh but its correctly named as a shift assist!
The HM connects to the 8 injectors so it cuts fuel rather than ignition but its still 100x better than stock imo. Id defo fit it to the S1 if you already have it. My guy who runs them up on his dyne often misses gears top end with the S1 OEM shifter!

Always love a good pic !

I have a stainless Akrapovic system with carbon long can on the way to me :) so should sound very nice soon... Didint want too loud or I would of kept the slip on can I bought and added the headers (I must be getting old)

Is that the best way to fit ? thiought you were suposed to fit the sensor as close to the Gearbox as posible ?
