Well 6 months ago out on a steady ride one Sunday morning and doing 50/60mph and a bloody partridge flew in to the side fairing didn’t think anything of it, stopped a few miles later for a brew and couldn’t believe my eyes and know how difficult it would be to find a good top fairing for a 94 urban tiger.

I still kept hoping I could find a good fairing well 6 weeks ago I did but wait for it he wanted £1200 just for the front fairing and it wasn’t perfect. So next day I sent my damaged one to illusion paints 3 weeks ago it returned and I couldn’t of been more happy brilliant job. £210 returned and £100 for two decals. Refitted today 6 months since I started her up purs like a kitten :)

Excellent result @gary1966 . We will always have problems keeping the older bikes pristine. Diligence and finding a good repairer (never an easy task) is just reward.

Bike is looking in cracking shape. I have a twinge of jealousy;).

I do remember your posting about the 'bird' incident, but I had no idea that it caused so much damage.:eek:

Nor did I Nige it sort of brushed off the fairings that’s why I didn’t stop at the time.

Another little story 8 of us went over to Spain for a road trip this particular day we decided go over in to Portugal lovely mountain passes my mate leading on his just run in Ducati 899 me second come round this corner this biggest dog I have ever seen stands there(mountain dog ) I went one way my mate hit it side on the damage to the bike my god calipers ripped off smashed front end etc the bloody dog yelped and ran off like nothing had happened we still laugh about it now down the pub.

Nice to see proper screws holding it all together. Instead of the plastic shite they use these days.
Great job they did with the fairing. Have you got a pic of the inside of the fairing?

Hi Kevin, no like a plonker I didn’t take one but you could just make out a line of plastic welding rest was smooth and can’t be seen once inner fairings are on.
