How can you tell what chain you have?

    I need to buy some new sprockets for my R6. Have no idea wether it is 520 or 525.. etc

    How can you work it out or is it written somewhere on the chain?

    it will say 520 or 525 on the links along with the make and model of the chain

    oh and it will also have it stamped on your sprocket,especially if you have after market sprockets on.

    i'd assume ypour running 520 though

    Thats my chain!!

    520 chain looks like it off a push bike thats how you know :)

    The pitch is the same on 520 and 525 but width is different. 520 width is 6.35mm and 525 is 7.85.
