Always wondered this.. So obviously there's club racing, and from what I've been told Thundersport GB is basically the feeder into BSB. WSBK is a level up from BSB I'm guessing in all classes. Does this mean that MotoGP is the premier for all classes, moto3 for lightweights, moto2 for 600s etc.? How do the Spanish Superbike Championships compare to BSB? Wonder as well what a MotoGP rider would go like round a track like Cadwell or Anglesey? Thoughts people?
yep GP racing is the pinnacle of motorbike racing, just look at the moto2,the wss champion is struggling to break into the top 10.but the biggest difference is th e amount of time difference that comes into play,it's not seconds,it's thenths. to give you an idea, jenny tinmouth won the gp1 races at oulton last yr with thundersport (prem class in the club)and runs nr the back of the bsb grid, which is no shame, doing sub 40's around oulton is rapid.bsb superstock grid are so close to the bsb s/bike times.a 1.40 only just got you on the back of a 40 field grid in superstock this yr.
haha yea i wish,45 optimum, but only a 47 round oulton.i'm trying to find seconds, and they are trying to find tenths, but lap after lap after lap, thats a big part of it aswell, being ultra consistent.
