would anyone know what 1 yrs no claims discount is worth percentage wise. years ago it was 10 percent per year up to a max of 60 percent now they dont mention percentage and the number of years no claims you can have seems to be nearly unlimited.
it seems to depend on which insurer you use .When i have given proof of no claims when renewing my insurance ,some have put that i have over 10 years .Yet when i claimed last year ,my insurance dropped to 4 years no claims discount . So with one company i would have lost 6 years ,and with another i lose 2 years. As usual with insurance they make it up as they go along
