Well I got it. But pay offer was not good enough I did say what I was looking for at interview but never mind. The search continues.

 

I understand the situation. We can compromise and be negotiable for the cream jobs, but some prospective employers are not up to 'investing' in the right staff. An old saying about peanuts and monkeys comes to mind.

 

I was flexible but I'm 42 married 3 kids and experienced in the role I'm not an apprentice . Shame because I would have loved it I think.

 

Sorry to hear they couldn't come up with a decent wage offer...I'm sure something better will appear.

I can just imagine it now surrounded by blades dressed in a fritter costume and some latex powder free gloves. Large of course.

Shame when that happens. Been talking to a few places about new roles, some were really interesting but money was far to low to be viable, as you say we have bills we need to pay.
