Just having a couple of cheeky glasses whilst my 'hopefully' master piece comes out the oven.
Can't beat a bit of late night baking.
Shell fookin kill me when she gets up and sees the state of the kitchen mind ;)

    Cheers.

I got a text from Ling this afternoon, full of " I love you's" asking me what my plans are for tomorrow and could I run her to the station in the morning, at least reading it and guessing the missing bits that's what I deduced she was trying to say. Oh shit I thought knowing she was going out for lunch with her CEO, those that have been on here long enough will remember the episode a couple of years ago resulting in my having the passenger side of my car professionally cleaned and sanitised after scooping her up from the bench outside the station. Lucky I had arranged to see my kids this evening so it was the local taxi company that would have to get her home.

Well,I arrived home to a very quiet house with nothing appearing to be broken and another I love you note on the dinning room table. I opened the bedroom door to the horrible smell of stale alcohol and snoring, that's me then, the spare room it is and I will sleep very soundly knowing how much fun it's going to be getting her up at five am tomorrow morning.

Now, what ever happened to that thrash metal cd I once had, it might be fun to listen to it again on the way to dropping her at the station in the morning.

And, just imagine how many browny points I am banking.

Had a pub meal with an old school friend who I meet up with once every year or so when I'm up north. Nice chat and a good laugh over a few drinks (it helps that she's easy on the eyes).

I'm now back at my sisters listening to her snore from two rooms away, she's 8 months pregnant and I feel sorry for my brother-in-law lol.

Farrrr too much Vodka last night. I vaguely recall wiring in my numberplate light at some point. I've just been to check it and it works so apparently I can do electrics when drunk.

That's one bottle of bargain-basement rioja polished off (I'd just killed my tastebuds with a chilli, so the wine was perfectly drinkable) now onto some bourbon I think.

What's the forum up to this fine evening?

I had completely forgotten about this thread.....

A couple of gentleman's size gin and tonics whilst cooking scampi and proper home made chips to be washed down with a couple of bottles of Fleurie, then with any luck its going to be on early night as I am knackered after a week from hell.

It always seemed to spark a good convo, so I thought I'd resurrect it.

Just cracked open the Gentleman Jack I got for my birthday... highly drinkable (it not sophisticated) stuff.

    Cheers!
