After James Ellison rocked up at last weeks Oulton Park Track Day with Kawasaki UK, and then having a chat with him later on as he loaded up his Van which was parked right next to mine, watching this somehow felt more real!
yeah wasn't nice was it looking like a broken hip there where a few nasty crashes at brands it seems yesterday
Ye, I was on top of the Monster stand when that happened and saw it on the big screen. Looked nasty then and even worse watching it back. Did you see Danny Buchan in the SuperStock race when he slid the rear on the last corner of the last lap I was talking to him about 30min before the race as one of the guys in the Army team knows him really well and his pit scooter had the front brake clipper bolt hanging half way out lol
yeah I thought he might have lost it when he started his slide, but controlled it well, was then worried about his lead, but managed to hold them all, class stuff all happens so fast though awesome black line
Danny's a proper funny lad also, the 5 - 10 minutes we were talking to him he was just making us laugh and taking the piss. I can't repeat much of what he said, lol.
Im told that he lost concentration, apparently someone told him he looked like a "9 year old boy" a few days earlier and he was still chewing over it in his mind
caught up with this last night and thought oww feck. plus seeing the pics of his knee on Twitter was not nice either
