Lovely looking bike, something very special.

Caution - you may find this upsetting :

Someone turned up at the local caff on one today, drew a bit of a crowd. Few questions asked - yes it runs really nicely even at low revs, and yes the clutch is really light says the dude. Have you put any paint protection on it yet, says I, any kind of wax to protect the paintwork ?

Says the dude - he will be getting rid of all that [fairing] rubbish anyway, and turning it into a Streetfighter ! changing handlebars and seat as well.

I am sorry if you find that upsetting !!

I am sure it will be done well, by the standards of that sort of thing - I think he keeps company with that custom crowd - non standard !
When we were talking about the slow running, fuelling, supercharger kicking in, he mentioned other previous bikes including Ducatis. It does seem a bit of a waste of nice paintwork to me, but hey.

Each to their own. Not upsetting and everyone has their own taste on bikes :)

Well first ride out yesterday with 2 mates who now both have a BMW S1000 R. One on a 14 and one on a 16 plate

Was intending to just add a few miles via Chepstow to Abergavenny and then off for a brekky and Tea at Honey Cafe.

But we ended up at Elan valley in the end a 100 miles from me .

AS it was my first ride since Oct my wrists and hips hurt a little after 200 miles but no more than it would have on my Blade

    Thoughts on the H2.
Even through the Bike is quiet a bit heaver than my Old Blade it feels very light when riding. Easy to turn.
My God does it accelerate and just want to keep on going. Most of the time I was trying to keep it under 4k. A few times once I was past the first 100 miles I loaded the bike up to 8k. but most of the time it was kept under 6k.

I have the bike set to the pussy mode at the moment just to get me used to it. Setting 3 on the dash. Unsure if it's less power or more interruption from the electronics.

The Bike is really easy to ride, seat is comfy and easy to move on the bike.
The Quick shifter is great but not got around to looking at all the settings and having a play with it yet.

The dash showed after 200 miles I've averaged 32MPG. Which is quiet a but less than my Bladdes average of 45-50MPG + but I did not buy the bike for good MPG.
I think I got around 100 miles max until the fuel light came on

Belly pan is a must if you ask me mate.

Makes it look a lot better IMO.
