Just stuck this up on ebay and thought id put it here too incase anyone is considering a bit of muddy rutting. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/173158058609
£2500 anyone? Any advice on where to advertise? Not keen on Ebay as last time someone clicked buy it now and then never showed!
I think most of us look to eBay and Bike Trader. I wouldn't give up on eBay despite a small percentage of 'purchasers' being drop kicks and wannabees.
I think I have worked out how to put it up as a classified ad this time. Hopefully that will stop some of the impulsive eejits with no real desire to go through with it! Let the random questions commence lol.
I have 101 things to buy at the minute mate, and I'm no good at prioritising lol so yeah probably BMW first To be honest I will be hard punched to get any time on the blade this year never mind purchasing another one.
I've already had the silly offers at half the asking price or swaps for other shite I have no interest in. Plus a conversation regarding the fact it has a V5 and reg number but it's not for use on the road ie registered as an off reader for identity purposes only. Still asking if they can use it on the road
I'm sooo tempted by this, I've nearly bought an MX bike every year for the last 10 years......but I know I'd never get time to use it I'd need a road registered MX/enduro bike so I could ride it anywhere, full on MX bike would be wasted on me Good luck selling it mate!
EBay will get you the most exposure so stick with it if you can......on here you'll probably get less than 2 people interested or even looking for one. On ebay there'll be hundreds maybe thousands looking.....just to put it into perspective!
Cheers mate. It's the most fun Ive had on 2 wheels and I shouldn't be saying this as someone looking to sell but they are a pain in the arse. Prepping them, sorting the van, loading and strapping, driving for an hour or more to somewhere suitable... same on way back plus a load of cleaning whilst your knackered, air filter stripped and re oiled each time. It's like a part time job! When you are in a little group and people are flying off left right and centre though it's a hoot. Also very rewarding as you learn how to ride them. I will be sticking to road bikes though
