Now I'm lucky enough to work at a ktm dealer boss says it time I rested the blade and tried the demo fleet.
It's very comfy for my 6.2 frame . Race mode is fun and so is street. I really like it. Does feel very softly sprung compared to my rr4 and the brakes arnt as sharp as I'd like but I'm sure easily sorted with lines ect. Mostly its a hoot and isnt that what its all about.
I like those... Incidentally, that message "Ready to Race"....thats what pops up in my brain every time I get on the 'Blade
Yes, but not all. For instance, @Diane piggott has a screen message: 'Ready to appear?' Seems she pays no attention to it
My 1290 gt with 12 weeks (most of them was on KTM workshop , due little and big failure) and 1400 km , it´s already for sale
Oh dear. I'll ask lads in workshop if thats common. I've know we had a 1290 that ate its gearbox within a thousand miles but it was some fault with quickshifter and ktm fitted a whole fresh engine for him.
Had one for 6mths loved it but then came back to a Blade. Its a whole lot of comfy fun, but non adjust preload forks and never happy with the front. All the forums of breakdowns and build issues i decided to get back on something i trusted Went out with a couple of lads on SD’s a few weeks back and they had to head back as one broke down All day comfy fun and a great noise, colder being a naked, love the quickshifter and very quick off the mark but that front end needs a better steering damper and forks to get it anywhere close to a sportsbike feel
