I think I bought a lemon. I have a P234 Brembo rear brake and it's leaking a small amount of brake fluid out on the bolts clamping the brake together. Can these be returned/repaired or a bin job?

Repair the caliper, pull it apart clean area where seal ring sits, new seal ring, put caliper back together job done.

Go to a hydraulic repair place, they may sort you if you only need an O ring.

Use the O ring from a drive chain. Perfect size I raced at Brands with this in as mine done the same as it was a numpty that rebuilt it before me.

Thanks everyone so I assume there is I rings in between in each piece? I'll take a look so could be a fairly cheap repair

Si, make sure you choose epdm type seals as these are happy to live along side with brake fluid where as the nitrile and viton type allow brake fluid to seep through the rubber.

As shiny side up says make sure you acquire a epdm seal, most bearing supply, hydraulic fitting suppliers will have them. You may have to take yours along to get the correct size/profile.;)

Thanks everyone yes sent it off to be refurbished with all new seals. It's going to get pressure tested so I hopefully should get peace of mind of no leaks.

The link you suggested. I called them and explained what was happnening and they are goind to rebuild with genuine Brembo o rings and pressure test so should be good as new.
