    Hi,

My 2007 has done about 20k miles and nothing has been done to the suspension as far as I'm aware and it's still on its standard settings. I'm about to start doing some track days (novice group) and in prep will be changing the fork oil. Does the rear shock need looking at at this age/mileage? I did a track training day on it last year and it felt great and it's always felt good on the road. Is it good as it is or should I get it serviced and I'll be blown away by the performance I've been losing slowly from it over the years?

    Cheers,

    Mark

Given your confidence in it as it is, I would do the track day as is and see how you perform in comparison with others in the group. From there you will get an idea of what improvements you might want to make both to your bike and your riding style.
