fitting kit prices vary depending on bike, but are around €80-100.
At today's rats that translates to around £69-86.

That is much better, the slippage sideways is now minimised which is a small problem for this type of stand, do you fancy making me one or do you have a cad drawing i could use please?

Hi Peter. That is the reason I made it, to get rid of the sideways slippage issue. It wasn't massive - just annoying.
I do have a CAD drawing if you want it. I dont have time to manufacture another though.
PM me your email address and i will send the drawing.

That's looks really much better than the original. I ordered a ConStands as well and I am wondering if you mind to send me your CAD drawing as well, please!?
I hope that they don't sent me the wrong fitting kit.
    Thanks !

Steve. I'm saying nothing as Jeanette and a friend of ours were rolling around laughing at me the other night when I described a short length of railway line that I've cut down into a portable anvil as a thing of beauty.

    So.........'Nuff said.

Yes Steve it is. It's a work hardened piece of steel that rings like a bell when you hit it with soft radii for fettling Properly with and a wide, thin flat base that can be cramped to anything in seconds flat and will never, never distort.

Cutting it melted my angle grinder and broke the local blacksmith's bandsaw and only succumbed to a plasma torch, but I got three out of it which I gave to my brother and (like a twat) to my boss.

    Girls huh?

    Just spoke with our toolmaker.
He is going to give me a price to produce the brackets to my design.
Assuming we can get an order of at least 5 he is interested.
I will post up the price as soon as I have it.
Can anyone who is interested make it known here please?
I am not making any money out of this - it is just a service as interest has been expressed.
If it is too expensive I will still send the design to whoever wants it.
    So far:

I have a price from our toolmaker to produce the mounting plate to my design.
As I suspected, it is not cheap.
He can do a 5 off for £105 each (plus delivery)
Or, 10 off for £95 each (plus delivery).
This is for the mount plate only and not the pins, as you use your existing pins.
    Material is stainless steel.
Let me know if we have any interest.

My boss maintains that if you carry £500 and your passport on you all the time, you can make a fresh start anywhere in the world at the drop of a hat.

That why the bastard keeps me poor, I reckon.

Thanks Steve, but i will pass on that given that it would almost cost half of what i paid for the stand!!!!!!!!!!!!! I already have welded up a piece of angle iron total cost of £4 so job is done, although i would like a copy of the pdf drawing if you are willing to share as i know a local engineer who could do something a lot cheaper in mild steel. Cheers.

Thank you Steve for help, but I don't want to invest so much money for the stand.
Like Peter, I do know somebody abroad who could do it cheaper. He works in a jail and the inmates are doing the job ( they have plenty of time, Haaaaa ), if you are still wiling to share your perfect drawing. They could do the pins, bolts etc. as well.
    Thank you anyway !
