Constands enjoy a good reputation, especially among the American contingent. I have one of their front lift under yoke jobs.

I would probably lean towards the 1jac even though it's a tad dearer. I looked at them at the NEC last November and was very enthused. My difficulty is that I don't have an area of flat, level ground, so that essentially ruled out my buying one.

With respect to the Warrior, I recall a forum member stating that his bike fell off one of those. However, I am not to know whether it was a product fault or an owner fault of not connecting the adaptor plate properly.

Yeah that’s the one. The good thing about the 1jac is if you sell your bike all you need to do is buy a new kit and it’ll go straight on the new bike and I’m not sure if you can trade the old kit for a new one at a discounted cost. They are based in Leeds I drove down and picked it up from them.

Going from a 2012 to a 2018 SP the old 1Jac worked just fine with no modifications. Just remember to salvage your 1jac nut off your old bike.

Yep, a definite preferred option for those with space! I'd love one but it would block the TV!:D

I’ve seen some poor reviews and youtube videos for the Constands so the 1jac is looking more preferable at the minute, but I was hoping to be spending less than their £310 + delivery.

I’m just thinking of one rather than trying to use an under yoke stand for work on the front end

Yeah, I've got one under a bike somewhere too. A bit of frigging around to set up, but probably no more than attaching side plates of the Constand or 1Jac type. There's also a mobile dolly available for the ABBA, but I think it's about 80 quid.

I’ve got the warrior spider stand, it’s absolutely spot on once it’s set up and adjusted properly. No complaints, a decent piece of kit for the price.

I’ve got a 2014 and it also fits my brothers 2010.
