On demon Tweeks free postage on orders over £25, also mention you’re a member on this forum and you might get a small discount, got my front lift arm the other day for £52 instead of £55 not much but still cheaper than direct from abbastands

Not sure if demon Tweeks do the dolly but look in the Abba website

You can get a package deal from Abba for £150 including the stand, front lift kit and the fitting kit for the bike. Can be found here https://abbastands.co.uk/product-detail.asp?item=superbike-package-2&pid=43

Brilliant that @Stuish - many thanks. £149.85 delivered for the stand, front lift and adaptor for the 2016 black edition. Thanks also to @sps170373 for the steer to the ABBA originally. Couldn’t justify the extra for the 1jac as (whilst its the best of that style from what I can see) I don’t actually need the ability to wheel the bike round once hoisted.

If your budget allows I'd recommend the dolly tray thing that the whole lot fits onto...I've got it..very handy for maneuvering the bike around and about whilst up off the floor.

Stands arrived and whilst I’ve not tried it with the bike it all looks to be a well made piece of kit. Only criticism is the rubber grip on the handle is all chewed up. May have happened in transit, but to be honest it was so very well packed I doubt it. Anyway, sent an email with a photo of the offending grip and asked politely if they can send a new one.

ABBA stands are great, the only criticism is that it can be a bit of a faff to set everything up, but that said they’re very well made and do the job they’re supposed to do.

New rubber grip is on its way FOC from those nice ABBA people (the stand manufacturer, not the Swedish pop group)

UPDATE - New grip arrived in this mornings post. Can’t complain about that :)

Okay, so the damaged grip got swapped over for the new one, adaptors fitted and the bike popped up on the stand. No issues there apart from the right side leg thumb screw hole needed retapping out to be able to lock the leg in position. Not just a case of paint in the hole it hadn’t been cut all the way through. Oh well, these things happen and i have the tools to sort.

Practiced the operation a couple of times and its a doddle to lift the bike up - a lot easier (and less stressful) than using a rear paddock stand can be.

Went to us the the front lift accessory and again both the holes in it (for its thumb screws) needed tapping out - same issue as the right leg not just paint. Again not a problem for me, but if someone had got this one who didnt have the tap to sort it’d be a show stopper. Other than that its brilliant and the strap to pull the rear down works a treat.

I hope you would notify ABBA about those threads. They would be interested and concerned for QC purposes. You're fortunate to have to taps. I would have been fuming had it happened to me. ;)
