I lost 13 points tonight and for what?.....I have no idea! Mods, if you're going to take points of us at least have the decency to send us a PM and tell us why!!
I too have lost over 1300 points this evening, and I wasn't even logged in. I suspect you can tell from this it's got sod all to do with us. I'll endeavour to find out what's going on this time. You never know your luck.
I must be honest, I really don't know how the points system works, to add, we don't get notified if someone loses or indeed gains points on their profile. If it makes any difference? Gary, You would need to ask the boss what addons he has installed in the forum? Guessing something like "vBExperience" but there are loads of others to choose from some paid for some free, then armed with that info go read the documentation for the specific addon.

Do points really matter? Is this why some people post mindless drivel, just to get post points? Had this on a forum I ran and it was due to automatic age related archiving.
We get to trade them for Honda goodies at the end of every year... didn't you know? I got a natty little Honda fleece last year, and Ken opted for a Goldwing!
I've done nothing but know Rob is doing stuff behind the scenes to improve the forum I never check my point and don't worry what I have but we have discussed this with Rob. await to hear his feedback. So nothing to do with ken, me, Gary or martin If Ken can get a goldwing I thing I can have a Honda NSX lol
just checked mine and I lost over 5000 points. not a biggy I feel this may be due to removing inappropriate posts in the past that don't meeting with advertising rules set in place my Rob So losing 13 or even 1000 is nothing to what I lost
Right a update. Again this is nothing to do with the admin/ mods team. But software updates have been put in place due to the growth of the forum. This is resulting in things being removed if it brakes the ad rules when it comes to more adult pics. So many may have been effected like myself as I may have posted up ladies in bikinis over 3 years ago. And why I lost points for the post or thread etc... Hope that sheds some light on the reasons
I really don't feel I should be penalised for posting a pic of Jessica Ennis' lovely bottom in lycra!!
