I reckon I could get four in as long as they're in a line...... It is 25 foot long you know! Though I suspect once I start filling it up with my bits, paddock stands etc it might get tight
I won’t bring the bsa paulo because it leaves it mark where ever it goes, ask my mate at his car sales
@PauloHRC is that cushion floor or something heavier duty for garage spaces etc? How much and what size was it?
It's felt back vynil, it feels soft ish to walk on but it's quite hard to the touch. I didn't want anything to soft as it would mean the paddock stand woukd dig in and you'd end up with low spots. It's not specifically for garages, more kitchens and bathrooms but it has worked well in here. I paid £220 fitted...... Not sure where its from, my mates a carpet/flooring fitter and has just done the whole house so he just uses his supplier. I'm sure it's widely available though
If it's any help @exuptoy , I use carpet squares from B & Q in temporary locations. They are only about £2.95 ea and could probably be purchased much cheaper from a wholesaler or end of line job lot. If I needed to secure them, I just use double-sided tape.
Neaten'd up the sunken ground anchor, where the felt backed had been cut to reveal the anchor..... You could see all white felt fibres and it looked a bit scruffy. I burnt the fibres off with a lighter and masked it off and sprayed it satin black. Looks much better now
It'll be worth it in the end they said.... ....they weren't fookin wrong!!! This is me for the foreseeable future......erm, I'll have my tea in 'ere sweetheart!!
Excellent set up, Paulo. I know I took the 'P' about your door, but the whole shebang is compact and functional, and I can now see that you'll easily squeeze in a couple more bikes that as far as Mrs HRC is concerned will be 'stored for a mate'.
@PauloHRC This looks amazing! I'm planning for a garage to be built over the next few months and will definitely be taking some pointers from this thread. The sunken ground anchor is fantastic! For me though, it will be an actual garage. Although, a small one as I've only got about 2.7m width to work with. This is plenty for a bike, some tools, and couple of shelves. I'll be getting it insulated so I can work on the bike without having to wear 10 layers of clothing
