Just wanted say Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2019 to you all and your loved ones. Enjoy the festive fluids and go crazy on the mince pies. I've started on the bubbly already and it's not even daylight lol. Better peel the potatoes and get the turkey on! Seasons greetings Rav
Thank you and a Happy Christmas to you too, and to everyone else on the forum. Started the day with some Cheesecake - can't resist it any longer ! Old school Martini Asti Spumante for drinkies with lunch - going to be mega !
Merry Christmas to all. Some serious eating and drinking going down around here. I think I must have serious problems: Shredded Wheat and banana for breakfast. No alcohol and no mince pies. Could be Fish Fingers for lunch!
With all of that made to measure leather in your life you can’t afford to be piling on the pounds @nigelrb
Got it in one! I prefer to lose a few kilos from my butt cheeks rather than lather my bikes with carbon!!
Nothing wrong with a fish finger sandwich with salt, pepper and lashings of vinegar. MMMMMmmmmmm When I was younger we used to have shredded wheat, warm milk first, then a raw beaten egg on top, plenty of sugar. Who the hell thought of that one? I'll tell you who, someone my mum was taking to on the bus. Mind you we always had it, so i can't have been that bad. Although I wouldn't have it now. Oh yeah. Merry Chrismas everyone. Diet starts again in January.
You are a true motorcyclist, @Lozzy. I walked down to the main road, saw it was still damp, and consequently abandoned my riding plans for today. I really get infuriated with myself sometimes, because a bit of water and road grime on the belly pan, rad guard, and swing arm will do no damage at all - except play havoc with my 'cleanliness' penchant. I really do feel like a sad case. On the positive side though, my bikes are always pristine. Sure, life is a matter of 'balance' so I guess I have my 'balance' in a very unconventional way. All credit to you Lozzy and others who ventured out in similar 'non-threatening' conditions.
Tbh I wish it'd just been damp here but there was so much salt down as well, I could taste it and had to keep stopping to clean my visor it was so bad Still...all worth it as the fast roads were quiet....in every aspect And just to prove I'm not really a mucky cow...here he is all washed & ready for tomorrow Life's too short Nige...get yourself out Boxing Day
