Dont suppose anyone has got a new set of these knocking around !? or knows anyone down sarf that does good prices on tyres around Hertfordshire/Essex/Beds/Cam areas !!?? Ta very much
You're a right Pikey U R NSG! First it was GB Racing Covers, now it's PR3's! Dya really think Peeps are buying the current 'Must Av's' then not fitting/using them and leaving them lying about waiting 4 U to pop up and offer a tenner for em? Get ya Credit Card out Tight Wad and buy em new as that's your only option on the good stuff mostly!
Lol- coming from the man that's just used the forum to get members to bid against each other on a us10, bit rich mate don't you think?
Seems to be a little chat about PR3's at the mo.... Will temptation pull me away from BT023's? Should I be convinced?! Have been tempted to change in the past but always been happy with the Bridgestones
Cheeky fecker.............................I do go on to say if anyone knows any good tyre suppliers and fitters down south.....................
Tyres, Brakes, Car servicing, Exhausts in Stevenage| Bob's Tyres These people are close to you. My neighbour ('Blade rider) swears by them and they seemed like nice people when they repaired a puncture in my Misses bike. Not sure on prices but I'm going to them next time I need tyres. I've had enough of searching the internet for cheap tyres, paying a fortune to get them fitted and ending up just saving a couple of quid.
Dude, you will be shocked how good these are, how little performance you sacrifice and how much milage you'll gain. Seriously wont use another tyre on the road....
well this is the thing, have them on loan (from another blade, wheels an all) for a ride out and then I go back to the other tyres I have just purchased today
Phantom, they are Pilot Power 3, not Pilot Road 3. I've just put a set of Power 3 on mine - seem fine so far. I've been using Pilot Power 2CT for the last few years - seem fine for the road and get decent mileage (2k out of rear).
no I have both to play with, friends new soon to be track bike has the roads and I have the powers so I am trying both out
Good stuff, I'd be interested to hear your opinions on both tyres - and what sort of mileage you get out of them. Cheers, Ian.
I wont get any big miles on the roads as they are only for a week and a bit but the power's will be my long term tyre.I usually use pure's so it will be interesting to see plus I got the 55 profile this time as there is still a couple of mm wear on the front that needs scrubbed off and you guys seem to like the 55's. with the pures I get around 800 miles to a rear and between 1500-2500 from a front. hopefully I will get more from the rear as I cant keep up with the currant tyre prices with the hospital wage im on lol.
I have a heavy right hand and never commute, so when the bikes out its being thrashed everytime.soon eats the black stuff up.
