    will forks from a 2010 frieblade fit a 2004 fireblade??? I cant see any difference personally but then I am only looking at photos ... any feedback would be welcomed ...

    need someone with both to do a side by side

    guess I'll cross that idea off my list then lol ...

    I am under the impression that forks for rr4, rr5, rr6 and rr7 are all compatible though

    Doesn't look like it would be a straight swap. Part number is the same from 2004-2007 >>CLICKY<<

    cheerz Barsteward ... that confirms what I thought ... was just hoping about the 2010 forks really ... found a nice set for sale and they would look great on my RR4 if they had fit

    Maybe if you change the top n bottom yoke? then callipers maybe an issue plus wheel n spindle:confused:

    That reminds me of one of the basic truths of modifications/upgrades - anything can be made to fit anything if you're willing to throw enough money at it.

    Yes so true jokeshopbeard and a lot of planning an prepping, but if you did do that mod other things would kick in like weight of the newer bike as 04 is heavyer than 08+ so the newer forks might not work as good as standard & the rear wheel would be different so that would need changing. The list is endless. Just buy a newer model :)
