I just gave mine away last week to a mate for his lad as it's been buried in the shed for the last 5 years. Here's my eldest on it taken around 16 years ago. And here's a picture of a mates lad on it taken on Thursday after I dropped it off the nigh before.
It's actually alot better quality than I expected, German made as well. Got a bit of weight to it which adds to the well made feel. Only downside is the decals are lacquered over so I can't remove them as I've bought Ducati ones! Proper baby Panigale though....... Exhaust exits at the rear of the belly pan too!!
Huh? No ABS? (I think it looks magic as a showpiece! Just tell your son there's something wrong with it and leave it there!)
Also adjusted the front fairing bracket, it was way off centre so I've reshaped it slightly and is now dead centre!
Is the poor lad ever going to get to ride it or will Dad always be tinkering with it?! Starting to think it was more a gift for you @PauloHRC
No, Liam, you've got it wrong. As parents, we have a responsibility to ensure our children will be safe, whether they're riding a mini-moto or building lego. It's just one of these 'unfortunate' tasks we must burden ourselves with. Onya Paulo
Haha......haven't even had it going yet. I've promised him we'll start it up next weekend, if I'm putting fuel in it I'd rather run it down to empty rather than leaving fuel in it and risk getting a leak!! Just need some decent weather...... It was nice today but had no time to take him somewhere to ride it....... Was to busy building my bench!!!! Priorities
I’ve convinced myself (and more importantly the wife) that my youngest will be into moto x, and of course daddy will need a bike too! Her opinion (after a glass of wine) you need to do it. Holding her to that one!!
